New Beginnings

After two decades leading the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations, I’ve embarked on a new journey with the launch of Kaleidra Global Advisors. This transition feels both exciting and natural—building on years of global experience while opening doors to new opportunities.

Lessons in Leadership: Wisdom from Extraordinary People

Throughout my career at WFDSA, it has been a joy to work alongside remarkable leaders who were my direct bosses and who have shaped my understanding of leadership in action:

• Dick DeVos - who hired me to lead and transform the federation. His leadership philosophy was simple yet profound—build strong foundations, trust in people, and always look ahead.

• Truman Hunt - a sharp strategist with legendary wit, whose calm presence made even the most complex challenges manageable.

•  Andrea Jung: a global icon who led with elegance, wisdom, and authenticity, inspiring countless leaders along the way.

• Alessandro Carlucci - infused every interaction with warmth and optimism, making our industry feel like one global family.

• Doug DeVos - taught that true leadership is about making everyone—from CEO to intern—feel valued, leading with both mind and heart.

• Magnus Brannstrom - tackled challenges with a simple yet powerful mindset: "What if we tried this?" Suddenly, the impossible felt possible.

• Roger Barnett - Led through uncertainty during global pandemic, inspiring us to reimagine, reinvent, and redefine.

Leadership wasn’t just about these chairpersons—it was also about the incredible association executives, business leaders and other amazing people I worked with. Together, we built something meaningful—rooted in trust, collaboration, and a shared purpose.

A Global Journey

My journey across borders started long before my career. From childhood travels to competitive athletics, exploration has always been part of who I am. That same curiosity and drive have since taken me to over 100 countries—from presenting awards at a gala dinner in the grand Versailles Palace to facilitating high-stakes negotiations, from leading strategic sessions in corporate boardrooms to hosting discussions that drive real change.

Along the way, I’ve had the joy of working with the world’s most innovative entrepreneurs, key stakeholders and other influential decision-makers. These experiences have introduced me to extraordinary people worldwide and helped me build lifelong connections and friendships across continents and cultures.

Yet, through all these remarkable experiences, one truth stands the test of time: authenticity, integrity, and being true to your word matter more than any title or achievement. Equally important is remaining humble—the most effective leaders I’ve known never lost sight of this quality. And let’s not forget a good sense of humor—because a well-timed laugh has the power to bridge cultural divides and build lasting relationships.

After years of building strategies around the world, bringing teams together, and watching real change happen right in front of me, I knew it was time to take my own leap.

It took shape in those defining moments—when a plan suddenly clicks into place, turning uncertainty into clarity; when a team rallies around a shared goal, bringing vision to life; when different perspectives collide and spark something bigger than any single mind could create alone. My years at WFDSA taught me something I'll never forget: real transformation happens when you bring together the right ingredients - clear vision, hands-on experience, and real human connections.
