A Korean Beauty Brand Entering the U.S. Market

A Korean beauty company entering a saturated U.S. market where K-beauty had become a crowded category. Strong product, weak American positioning and limited brand recognition outside Asia.

We built the US. market entry strategy, defined a brand positioning that differentiated the company in a saturated category and developed the launch communications strategy.  Identified the right retail partnerships and distribution channels to anchor the rollout.

The outcome - a clear U.S. market position, a defined launch plan and the strategic foundation to compete in one of the most competitive consumer categories in the world.

A U.S. Consumer Brand Repositioning for Global Growth

A successful American consumer brand with strong recognition at home, moving into a major Southeast Asian market for the first time. Its brand identity, messaging and executive narrative had all been built for U.S. audiences and didn't carry over to a market with different expectations, references and competitors.

We ran a full brand and positioning audit, then built a strategy that kept what made the brand strong with U.S. customers while shaping it for how local audiences.

The outcome - a brand and message adapted for the new market.. Leadership went in with one clear, consistent story for every conversation, from internal alignment to meetings with local partners and press.

A U.S. Industry Association Repositioning

An American industry association with a long history but its public voice had faded. Leadership was divided on where to take the organization, the brand had grown dated and its influence over the policy conversations shaping the industry was slipping.

We led the association's strategic and brand transformation. Working with senior leadership and the board, we got them aligned on a clear direction, then repositioned the association's external voice on the issues its members care most about and built the structure and communications plan to back it up. We also coached the executive team on carrying the renewed direction in public.

The outcome - The association came out with a leadership team aligned behind one strategy, a brand and public voice suited to the organization as it is now and a stronger standing in the industry and policy conversations

Aligning a Founder Before the Capital Raise

A founder and CEO was preparing for a major capital raise. She was respected and trusted inside her company but what she said, how she looked and the way she carried herself didn't add up to one story and the people sensed the gap.

We started with an honest outside read of how she was being perceived  using our proprietary framework. From there we aligned her message, color strategy, wardrobe and presentation materials so her authority and warmth came through before she said a word. Then we prepared her for the meetings, interviews and appearances.

She walked into every high-stakes room with one clear, consistent story, her message, presence and visual identity finally in alignment. She secured the round and it opened into a full roadshow of appearances.
