Ken Jaques is a seasoned communications strategist and former journalist with over 30 years of experience helping businesses, associations, nonprofits, and governments achieve their goals. Kem specializes in simplifying complex issues and delivering clear, impactful solutions through strategic planning, message development, branding, and media outreach. His background in journalism and public policy gives him a unique perspective on crafting narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

 

Ken began his career at Congressional Quarterly Magazine, covering key issues such as elections, defense, and economic policy. He then joined CNN’s Political Unit, where he reported on presidential campaigns, wrote debate questions, and contributed to coverage of major political events. Ken later served as Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg, where he developed and executed comprehensive media strategies to advance legislative priorities and public outreach.

 

Ken spent nearly a decade at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) as Chief Communications Officer, leading transformative efforts to expand the organization’s influence and visibility. During his tenure, CIPE’s communications efforts grew from basic social media and publications to a comprehensive global platform that included media outreach, podcasting, and events, contributing to unprecedented organizational growth.

 

Globally, Ken’s work includes transforming tax systems in Georgia, organizing presidential debates in Ghana and Moldova, and helping businesses refine their messaging to achieve growth and engagement. He has also worked with governments worldwide to develop communication strategies that effectively communicate public policy initiatives to their citizens. His hands-on approach and proven ability to align communications with organizational goals have made him a trusted advisor to leaders and organizations worldwide.

 

Ken holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Webster University. Known for his expertise, leadership, and results-driven strategies, Ken is dedicated to helping organizations build trust, expand their influence, and achieve lasting success.

Ken serves as the Vice -President of Communications of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) and sits on its Executive Board and on the Board of the Ahmad Butler Foundation.
